About me
Hello! I retired last month after a long career in healthcare governance/law and am spending what I call my “sabbatical year” trying new things and learning. This is my first time attending Dickens Universe.
I happened to read Bleak House a few months ago, stumbled across this program, and immediately signed up. Having spent much of my career in the legal profession, I was especially captivated by Jarndyce and Jarndyce and its far-reaching consequences. From there, I fell in love with the novel itself. I’m excited to learn more, hear different perspectives, and meet fellow Dickens enthusiasts.
